GROWING LAGUNITA’S EUROPEAN PRESENCE WITH A BESPOKE BEER RELEASE
Californian craft brewery – Lagunitas, had experienced rapid European growth since becoming part of the Heineken portfolio. But the French were slow to get their heads and palates around the bold, hoppy flavours that had made Lagunitas the biggest selling IPA in the US.
In order to inspire and educate a new market of craft beer drinkers, a hand-selected crew of French taste-setters, content creators, and beer buffs were sent to the Lagunitas brewery in California to brew a one-off French Fusion. Handed the keys to the brewery, they were given the task to create a beer that was both uniquely French, yet undeniably Lagunitas. The result – ‘Petaluma Fuzz’ Champagne Brut Rose IPA.
